Young Zoologist Practice your observation skills and learn what it takes to be a zoologist. Find our young zoologist stations in the Islands Zone on Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to help us track the behavior of some islands mammals. We’ll work on our observation skills by marking where animals are in the exhibits and what they’re doing. Guests will also be able to test their knowledge by identifying different types of animal scat or tracks. One of our most popular offerings each year – a party, a garden, and a big secret. You’ll come to Yew Dell, hop on a minibus and we’ll whisk you away to one of our favorite private gardens – and you won’t know where we’re going till we get there! Follow our garden staff for a guided tour of the gardens or just sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and a few light snacks in one of the most beautiful spots in town. Note that there are two time slots. 4p-7p is now SOLD OUT, and 5:30p-8:30p still has tickets available. Reserve your ticket now to hold your spot. Please keep in mind that all ticket purchases are final sale.
